Wedding: Royal Ottawa Golf Club, Gatineau Quebec

It was a super hot day in Ottawa for Cat and Andrew’s wedding last weekend– but nothing could dampen the good mood and shenanigans of Andrew and his army buddies, and Cat and her girls all day long. Most of the guys in Andrew’s bridal party are in the Canadian Army, and Andres himself is off to Afghanistan in the coming months. One photo that Andrew asked me to take that really touched me was he and his guys, posing with the Canadian flag. It made me feel proud of the boys, and of Canada.

Wedding Eastern Townships: Centre d’arts Orford

It was a rainy day for Jessica and Sean’s outdoor wedding last weekend at the Arts Centre in Mont Orford Park, but they decided to stick with the plan and brave the rain drops– thanks goodness– it was wonderful and sweet ceremony, surrounded by mountains and trees– so much nicer than just having it indoors in an anonymous conference room!

Children’s Album: Maxime and Olivier

This is the fourth album for Maxime and Olivier. We did the first book back when Maxime was just a year-and-a-half. The second book, and for the second album, Maxime was joined ined by his brother, the tiny baby Olivier. Last year we did another book with two busy two little boys. This year, and the last in the project, as the family is moving off to France, the boys were BUSY! It’s really too bad we couldn’t have continued with the project– such precious boys!

Chermaine & David’s Wedding: Au Vieux Moulin

Fry-an-egg-on-the-pavement hot at the Au Vieux Moulin in Rigaud for Chermaine and David’s wedding last Sunday. Did David notice? No, all he saw was sweet Chermaine…. “I can’t believe you’re my wife” I heard him murmer after the ceremony, stars in his eyes. Dave and Chermaine deeply religous, and belong to the Seventh Seventh Day Adventist church in Lasalle. The Vieux Moulin was the perfect place for them to get married, as it looks just like the Garden of Eden. Congratulations to you both, and best wishes in your future!

Caryn & Brett’s Old Montreal Wedding

Vertical sheets of rain all day long– a shame for Americans Caryn-Aline and Brett, as they had planned an outdoor wedding in the French garden behind Chateau Ramezay in Old Montreal. Alas, it wasn’t to be, and the ceremony was held inside the museum, with stern, dark paintings looking on. Love was in the air though– and I think even the paintings were tearing up– I certainly was– as the wedding ceremony was so intense and emotional.

Then– luckily– the rain stopped for a few minutes, and we got some shots in in garden, at few at Marche Bonsecours and them some rainy umbrella shots outside L ‘Autre Version , the restaurant where the reception was held.

Congratulations Caryn and Brett!! It was an absolutely lovey wedding.
